A downloadable game for Windows

Bit-Buster is our final 2nd year student project at Breda University of Applied Science.

In it, you (and ideally a friend) get thrown into steampunk-inspired japan, that got overrun by yokai - japanese spirits. By passing a deadly disk between each other, you can blaze through any enemy or obstacle that shows up in your way. Thanks to our entire world being sculpted with voxels in a custom engine, you can achieve mayhem the likes of which you've never seen before!

Disclaimer:

This game can be played both in single and multiplayer, but is more fun when played with a friend. A game-pad is highly recommended for the best experience.

Love the soft color scheme and general art feel of this game. Considering that its built on what seems to be a custom engine, its quite impressive. The levels were enjoyable and even found a little easter egg on a level which really added to the fun and overall experience of the game!

Thank you for your positive reply, and we are happy that you enjoyed our game.

You are correct about the fact that we use a custom engine. Our programmers have put their heart and soul into it to create it. We are also glad you found our Easter egg, and I think you might be one of the first to find it. Well done!

Have a great day and we hope you will keep playing our game and help us make it better!

Hello, This is dazza from Execution Unit, we make Smith and Winston, a voxel twin stick. I know how hard it is to work with voxels you've really excelled at it. Great work, keep it up :)

Hello Dazza. Nice to see your reply on our game here on itch.io. We have actually used Smith and Winston for reference in our game. Like the destructibility.

We will definitely keep it up, and hope your Steam adventure is going well. Have a great day and thanks for your reply!

This game looks visually appealing, I can see myself putting many hours into a game like this. The effects are on point and generally just a game that is pure mindless fun.

Thank you for your positive reply, and we are happy that you enjoyed our game.

The artists will be happy that you found it visually appealing. They have put in great effort to create assets for people to destroy.

Have a great day and we hope you will keep playing our game and help us make it better!

Checked this game out recently with a friend. We thought the effects like explosions were really cool. The audio is well made too however the ui art could use a bit more polishing. Overall, this game is a blast and I wish there were more levels to play! (ps. my friend and I pregamed to this game every time someone died and that was really fun haahah)

Thank you for your positive reply, and we are happy that you enjoyed our game. Have you tried out our new Single Player mode?

We are aware of the UI art still needing a bit more polish and we thank you for notifying us on this. Also cool that you enjoyed the audio, we've put in a ton of hours making that feel satisfying and juicy.

Have a great day and we hope you will keep playing our game and help us make it better!

I played this game with my brother, and we both found it nice!
The UI needs some nicer images and the start of the game was a bit unclear.
But still thanks for the game :)
